Beautiful job, Stew!
Much thanks, Frank!

Indo-Sumatra and Paraguayan flojo viso with a Dominican binder and an Ecuadoran wrapper. Really fine.

Your cigar have ceased to get better and better looking. Now they're getting more and more refined.

Thanks, Ian, but it still is inconsistent for me. Getting the right amount of tobacco in the mold, having the leaf at the proper humidity, and the condition of the leaf itself all play a role.

On a side note, I noticed this week that I possess at home (at least, by type and country of origin) all of the tobaccos that go into the Undercrown Shade. I'm gonna try to duplicate it!

Now that is seriously cool! Make me one for next week. I'll buy a shade from Humidor, deband it and then smoke them both. Super cool idea!!!

I put my first batch together tonight. Hopefully, they'll be dry enough by Thursday to stay lit relatively well. Of course, a five day old cigar is unlikely to taste like one that's been sitting for however many months, nor will we know how it will change over time, but, yes, it'll be fun to try.

First set of knock-off tries on the Undercrown Shade. This will eventually be called the Mimic, and if other "knock-offs" come about, the other "line extension" names will be the Impostor, Copycat, Camouflage, and Chameleon.
