Cigarro del dia - numero cinco

Whatever floats yer boat....as long as it's cigar related.

That swamp thang is the coolest wrapper gimmick I've seen. Kudos to a clever marketing scheme. The KFC line is a perfect home for it, too. No one is smoking a KFC for a conservative cigar smoking experience. Anyone who reaches for one of those can also appreciate the audacity of a green and brown, smokey ass beacon of lunacy!

FWIW, the crisp, vegetal tendencies of candela don't seem to me as if they'd accompany the character of a KFC well. Culture clash at its core, more like it.

Road trippin' to Iowa (from Chicago) for a German band gig. Ten total hours of driving for a two-hour show. Thank goodness for cigars!

I keep trying these every year in the hopes that they'll recreate the 2011 blend. This year seems one of the better offerings, but still not the 2011....

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

Crowned Heads (cigars), Gansett (beers) and charcoal = my three loves in life.
