Whatever floats yer boat....as long as it's cigar related.

Had the opportunity to grab a couple beautiful hours in the woods today, accompanied, of course, by cigars.

This 8-5-8 Sungrown came from a freshly opened box. All the spots were underneath the cedar shield. I checked a second cigar and it was fine. Both smoked great, too. Oh, and it's Oktoberfest season!

A year or so ago, I bought a bag of latakia tobacco and rolled 8-10 cigars using a LITTLE bit of the latakia. Even a very small amount really influenced the flavor in an odd way. I have two left, one with a very small amount and one that used a bit more, maybe double, which was still very small. I pulled out the lesser version this AM, and having sat for a year, the latakia has mellowed and is, actually, a pretty good smoke. Gonna have to try some more, methinks.

A gift from zedman. I have to say I'm digging it more than I remembered for this line (Cardinal). It's less sweet and more toasty than I'd have guessed beforehand. Not sure why, but it's instantly provided a very calming effect. Me gusta mucho.
