FWIW, I was "on call" yesterday, let's say, so I ended up not having the afternoon off and didn't smoke. Next one I have will be a Quesada per Zed's request.

As for cranky-Craig; lets go with something Quesada or Diplomatico CC.

I like how Craig leaves his own forum for a long time, then comes back and posts like a fiend.

I adore Dimplomaticos, but have none. That's a great reminder of a cigar I rarely ever think of.
That was why I thought of Diplo. Not an often thought-of cigar brand. I have seen a few people singing their praises as of late.

Having smoked through the repertoire of Cusano offerings, I can tell already this is the clear winner for me.

Who now owns Cusano? Didn't I hear that Davidoff holdings sold them?

I'll be lighting up an Espana tonight in honor of Zed. Cigar #2 will be a 20 y/o Diplo #4 if I still have one, otherwise I'm up for suggestions again.

If Davidoff sold them, I missed it.

As an update....even though it's my favorite of the bunch, I still wouldn't buy them. Cusanos were once an outstanding value - very good cigars at a great price. Now (post Davidoff control) they're (to me) watered down blends at an average price. There are many, many brands I'd buy first.

The tobacco seems flat in flavor. Like it's lost its essence. It's akin to what I taste in Mom & Pop operations that buy the cheapest thing they can to cut corners. Not saying that's what Davidoff does; they just remind me of that.

Event-only KFC Yardbird. Not popular sticks on here, but I like em as non-traditional sticks.

This was gifted to me by a good friend of mine. Really good stick. Solid spice, earth, and "dark" flavors. Like other Ave's, you can find these on CI.

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia
