Cigarro del dia - numero cinco

Post by smokinsteve » Sun Aug 21, 2016 11:26 pm

Ian, your post smoking the Fratelo H-Town lancero made me want to smoke one. I bought a box when they first came out. This one has aged nicely! I agree with you, it's my favorite size in the line.

Not quite sure what I'll light up. It's just before noon and I'm done working for the day. Time to relax with a fine smoke after lunch. Suggestions? I know you don't know my humidor but if you point in a certain direction I'll do my best.

I'm stranded. Thankfully, at home....but nonetheless stuck here. My truck's battery (which we just bought the week before going stateside) is down. I'm hoping my cohorts will be around to pick up Kristi and the kids from school this afternoon....and maybe take me to have this battery checked out. I'm hoping it's a dud. I don't wanna have to replace an alternator or something more expensive.

So, I reckon I'll just dig out something good from the humidor for the next couple hours.

and your answer to my above inquiry, Mr.Fisher?

ON a more important note, I sincerely hope the problem is the battery, not another electrical issue. If so, it's a double smack in the face. Not only do you have to pay for it, you realize you were fooled the first time and bought a battery when your last one was likely still fine if not for the current fiasco. Ugh.

The alternator problems are always fun. Went through a couple vehicles with that problem.
As for cranky-Craig; lets go with something Quesada or Diplomatico CC.

I like how Craig leaves his own forum for a long time, then comes back and posts like a fiend.

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

I adore Dimplomaticos, but have none. That's a great reminder of a cigar I rarely ever think of.
