Re: Cigarro del dia - numero cinco
Firing up some tests that use multiple wrappers over Cameroon, Criollo, and San Andres filler. First one has started off nicely.

The first stick had an Ecuador shade wrapper and was very pleasant. This one has a Habano 2000 wrapper and while a little different, it was pretty similar, just a bit more edge. The Ecuador was the more enjoyable smoke.

Man. It only took about 170 days this year to get a free morning that was nice enough to hang out on the patio in the AM for a post-breakfast cigar. A fine start to this cigar, too. We're not in DR anymore, Toto...

Quesada Keg lonsdale 6x44.

This is a really nice cigar! Quesada is a brand that I usually pass over when shopping my local B&M. When I noticed that this one had Nicaraguan guts and a Pennsylvania broadleaf wrapper, I wanted to try it. Glad I did. It does taste similar to the Southern Draw Quick Draw Penn. broadleaf stick.

Yesterdays Delights.
Bought a new, crappy bbq. I wanted one thing, then the wife informed me that I was wrong in thinking an $1800 bbq is a good purchase. So we got something "cheap" at $800, which won't even last half as long, not cook as well.
Had a cigar while setting it up.

So good ! I think these are my biggest hidden gem.

Then last night:
Behike 56 Rolled with Conni wrapper
Thanks Craig.
This was interesting. I did a bit of Craig's pattented cut-the-wrapper-off smoking. I liked this cigar waaaay more sans-wrapper. I decided to keep the wrapper off for the last half actually. Besides, the wrapper was falling apart in some places even before smoking.

Fume !
