EPC New Wave. When I smelled the cigar pre-lighting, I thought "uh-oh, grassiness." But what I immediately got upon lighting it was a very delightful sweetness and an interesting retrohale that I still can't figure out. Nice smoke volume, too. A winner!

Past midnight, and decided to go deep humidor diving. 5-years of age on this. Outstanding! Cheap as hell, but it agrees with my palate for sure! Goodnight, gents!

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

Cigarro del dia - numero cinco

Always a good time when my cousin comes to visit. Notes of floral, spice, earth, slight vanilla and coffee on the finish. Excellent! Goodnight, gents!

Carlito Fuente's mother Anna passed away this week, so I'm having an Opus Love Story (aka Love Affair) made to commemorate hers & Carlos Sr.'s 55th anniversary in her honor tonight.

I don't mean this to be cheeky but there's a part of me that expects a terrific, complex, mild cigar to be released in her honor. Carlito is always the symbolic & honorable one.Kip wrote:Carlito Fuente's mother Anna passed away this week, so I'm having an Opus Love Story (aka Love Affair) made to commemorate hers & Carlos Sr.'s 55th anniversary in her honor tonight.

The Wanderlust - Brazilian mata fina, San Andres, and Nicaraguan ligero fillers. A bit on the robust side, but plenty good.

Not knowing specifics, I'd say that's a blend (component-wise) that is available on the market already. I'm sure you're working with a winner there.Stewmuse wrote:The Wanderlust - Brazilian mata fina, San Andres, and Nicaraguan ligero fillers. A bit on the robust side, but plenty good.

Just came down off the roof after replacing a couple of shingles that got blown off last week. Turned out to be a pretty easy job. Time to relax and online shop. Oh, yes. Like we all should be doing if shopping at Amazon, I'm gonna use the pop-up link on the HA site. Woot!
