Ha! Processed leaves....funny. I have a feeling these leaves were grown in someone's back yard, piled in a corner until he deemed them "ready" and then rolled into little tubes. You have to remember the source. These came from a remote area in the mountains, with no access to (nor money for) purchasing much beyond basic needs. Most things that aren't a necessity are produced on front porches and traded amongst the community. Staples are brought in if they can't be made/grown, of course, but they're a pretty self-sufficient group. Kinda like Dominican hillbillies. My people can be found worldwideStewmuse wrote:.05??? How does one do that? Are processed tobacco leaves just raining down from the sky in the DR? I guess these really would be sun grown leaves.

So, how are/were these? Pics??Kip wrote:Big day. Got some "rustic" - home made - cigars from a colmado in the mountains. I'll let you know how that goes if I survive.
Going to an Águilas (Dominican baseball team) game tonight. I understand you can even have a cigar in the stadium....

Watching a bad "horror" film, having a better cigar. Combination of Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Dominican filler. A little better in a bigger ring, but this was fine.

Yep. The movie never got better, but the cigars made it all worthwhile.

Freyja Sessrúmnir by Emma Viktorson under Señorial Cigars. Wow. Craig and Zedman, I think this is right up your alleys. Smooth, flavorful, semi-strong, and nuanced. Yum yum yum.

I really love the color of this wrapper (Ecuadoran shade) draped over South American tobaccos -Brazilian mata fina and habano viso.
