I've posted about this cigar (Bobalu obscure) before, but they really have been, for me, a cigar that has evolved, even over a relatively short time. I received a box of these in February and found them so grassy that they were decidedly offputting. That grassiness has slowly faded, and while still there, it is much more mellow and somewhat accompanied by a bit of anise flavor. Still not my favorite, but it does make for a nice change of pace.

No pics, but I smoked a Havana Preferred and my dad had a Short Story on the golf course today. It's the official start of the U. P. R. C. !! (The unofficial pachyderm Ryder cup) that we play every few years against our English family!

Meh, on the fownside of their life. I wasn't the biggest fan in the first place, but a few years haven't made these any better. Need to get the rest smoked before they are completely flat.

Enjoyed an AJ Fernandez New World as I took a very pleasant, 12:45 AM walk from my gig to my car in Chicago tonite. Super pleasant outside and the streets are still fairly busy, though not screaming loud as they are in the early evening.
