We ran over to La Tabaqueria last night. Henke Jr. and his wife were there, so we chatted with them most of the evening. I've met him a couple times in the past, but never in a leisurely setting. Very interesting guy, and from all appearances his factory is progressing well.

I've had numerous conversations with him, both leisurely as well as professionally. He sure is interesting; but in a slightly bland sort of way. Perhaps Intriguing is a better term. Anyone who has Davidoff by the short curlys and chooses to usurp convention and start something SMALL is a rare & unique breed.
FYI, after a relationship with the Smoking Jacket that started very, very abrasively, I have grown to really enjoy that stick...

And it turned out to be a total drag. Bagged it after 25 very uninspiring minutes. Not worth the time needed to finish it.
