That's actually a very difficult pipe to come by. I searched for years....literally YEARS...to find a Grand Slam of that vintage. I came across a few over the years that were made just a bit later (they had a different stem inlay and nomenclature in case you're wondering how to date them), but the 3pc blue & white bar inlay evaded me. I found this one in an estate lot I picked up on the cheap. Pristine condition...even had the little leather washer that was a part of the plumbing on them (which is unheard of most times). In my quest to pare down the collection, this one stays. Smokes like a champ, and its age, condition and rarity make it priceless to me.

Very nice! I've been using a Dr. Grabow I believe. It was cheap, but seems to get the job done. Also have a meerschaum eagle of some sort. Picks soon.

My two sacrifices last night at a hang with Crag and some other friends at the Humidor i Westmont, IL. The San Cristobal Revelation is a really fine, fairly bold stick that kinda whooped the Titan Redemption (maduro)'s behind...
