I gotta tell ya, sunny and 80 degrees. Pairs well with me.

Total post-whore move, but I figured those of you in more northern climes would appreciate this....

Jericho Hill Lonny, the best line I've tasted from Crowned Heads.

Casa Fernandez is a real nice cigar, but it sure isn't making today feel like Miami...

I am a huge fan of fresh PSD 4's. I love the punch and zing they deliver when young.

While putting up the Christmas lights on Saturday I enjoyed an old VR Farm Rolled Cannonazo. These have the most delicate wrappers I've ever experienced, with nearly every one cracking when they're cut. It's funny, I actually got into a bit of a spat with the gent I bought them from (Handlers are a common thing in Cuba. I'm sure Zed can explain more than I). Way back when, these showed up with 5 or 6 from the bundle having split heads & caps. I tried to get them replaced but there was really nothing that could be done. It's not like I got them from a B&M or something. Because of the difficulty in smoking them, they just sat wrapped in plastic wrap, deep in the bottom of my cabinet. Every year or so I'd unwrap them and give one a try, nearly always thinking I had been wronged. It was only recently that I put on my big boy pants and realized that I still had some cigars left that could be enjoyed. Saturday was my first time submitting to the cigar. I knew the wrapper was a problem so I just removed it after the split experienced when I cut. Why the hell not? The flavors were so enjoyable that I even sent a text to Kip saying specifically "Cigars this good are a gift from God."
It easily shoehorned its way into my top 5 cigars of the year. What an experience.

Nothing for me right now. Headed to give some blood and a new series of MRIs. It'll be 3:00 or so before I'm done today, but I'll make up the time this evening....
