When on, the Habano #3 is an amazing smoke and one of the best for the money. They have a tendency to get the generic & boring "sweet" habano flavor when they're not at their best. I'm normally a fan of sweetness but, just like how a lot of basic N/C cigars age, only the sweetness comes through from time to time and eventually it gets very monotonous. I don't know if that's because they have overprocessed a batch or if Habano can just do that when its not a super high quality leaf. I'm not sure. Either way, more often than not they're great sticks. A sweet, savory, caramel-like, tobacco core of flavors make that one of my two GH staples. The other is the original 3 Siglos. Yum! For the same reasons!

No cigars for me so far this week. I'm fighting a cold. So far, I'm winning! Came on hard but I've kept it at bay BY DROWNING IT!! Yesterday I had over a gallon of water. I'm making an effort to drink 4 liters each day. We'll see how that bodes for tomorrow night...

Never understood them. It's counterproductive to actually getting rid of the cold, just helps you sleep and soothes your cough, right? Only symptomatic help instead of healing?

I dunno, my grandma makes a delicious concoction of whiskey, muddled lemon, cinnamon, and mint, and hot water that seems to do the trick. Maybe it's part placebo, part herbal remedy, and part rest and relaxation. Seems to give the body that extra push to get the last remaining bits of sick out.
