Last night and today. The Casa Fernandez was CA’s number 8 cigar of 2017, and it was... okay. Started great, but lost that goodness after about 5 minutes and never got back to that level
of enjoyment.
The Avo Nicaragua though, was a complete joy for all of its 90 minutes. This is the toro that comes in a rectangular aluminum tube.

Forgot to post this last night. But this cigar kept me company while I was sitting in Houston traffic yesterday afternoon

Being a fan of the Cuban RASS I’ve wanted to try AJ Fernandez’s version since I heard about its creation. Finally picked one up and smoked it. I didn’t expect it to be the same as a RASS but I did kind of expect (or at least hoped for) a memorable smoke. The cigar was just ok to me. Wasn’t great. Definitely won’t go out of my way to buy more. Not a bad cigar though. More of a meh smoke to me.
