It was a cold dark night so I started with a bowl of Dunhill's Nightcap. Then with a nice cup of hot tea, I had a bowl of C&D Haunted Bookshop. Enjoy

If I am not mistaken, I read the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy to Nightcap back in 02/03. Good gracious how that aroma puts me back to holding a book and smelling the pages. Life was simple then. It's not complicated now but its not simple, either. Such a clear 15 or 16 year old memory makes me feel like there wasn't enough other stuff going on to get my mind cluttered with unfortunately memorable thoughts. I *may* have mixed old ironsides in there with Nightcap also. And a CAO latakia rich blend that I can picture but not recall.

It’s too bad Nightcap has become nearly extinct in my area. I really like that blend.

This Peterson makes GLP Virginia Cream enjoyable for me when packed with a very light hand. It took several different pipes packed in various ways/densities to find it, but this combo works. Image

Does that mean you will put up an addendum to your Virginia Cream review from August?

Smoking some C&D Plantation Evening in my most recent pipe. A vintage Alpha epitome from the ‘70s. it’s got some beautiful grain and a pretty decent smoker too.
