I'm assuming this is the re-release and not the unicorn-status OR?

I’ll have to ask. He had several from an event, I think, this was one of his last two.

Got into this Diesel Rage the other day. Sometimes it takes a bit to get a post up cuz of the xtra steps. (stupid iPhone making files huge
)
These were somewhat reminiscent of the Pueblo Domincanos Aj also made which was my hope. A bit more earthy but that same nice sweetness and spice. The retro finish is the real win here on this cigar. Pepper on the actual retro then a lovely sweetness that reminded me of honey grahams and later vanilla.

That actually answers the question. Recent (2916-17 vintage) release were event cigars. OR was a single-shop release back in 2010ish, with only 5k total production. They're rare as hens' teeth, and I've seen folks pay some outrageous prices for the few stragglers that remain in aftermarket circulation. There's one in my humidor that was given to me years ago. I haven't had the heart to smoke it yet.

Wow. When I had my first Air Bender a few weeks ago, a toro-ish stick, it was really strong and hard flavored. This lancero, though, was an absolute joy. Full flavored but not hard, with a perfect draw and burn. Outstanding!

That would explain why they have no bands, just a sticker on the cellophane tube.Kip wrote: ↑Wed May 09, 2018 4:51 pmThat actually answers the question. After long consideration, I opted for the pipe that defies all logic and physics (per last night's show discussion), stuffed with some GLP Navigator.

Re: Cigarro del dia - numero siete
Well, this was disappointing. Flavor-wise, it was adequate, but with a pretty serious internal channel and then two more holes further along, this cigar burned very irregularly and hot. Not one of Cuba’s finest...
