Re: Cigarro del dia - numero siete
Brought one of the upcoming TL Johnson release cigars from my visit with Terry last summer and gave it to a client instead of smoking it myself. Why I did that, I'm not quite sure. He was a nice guy and all but I saw an Opus sitting on his kitchen counter and got all flustered. Nothing for me to smoke today. At least sharing is caring when it comes to cigars!

Re: Cigarro del dia - numero siete
Yesterday was a great day for a smoke.. I honestly think it topped 50 degrees! Started the day with a colmado stick.. this one burned .. unlike the one I tried to smoke earlier in the month lol. Honestly though for 5 cents I defy someone to find something better. Finished the day with this little norteno from Drew Estate that I had been gifted a ways back. I think by Bob?... Anyway a truly wonderful little cigar.

A unique thing I do at the golf outing hosted by our company at our workshop each year is I bring cigars from my stock. I don't ask to be reimbursed because it is something I enjoy and share with the clients that also enjoy them on the golf course. To me in the end it means a little more to me to share my hobby then to just "expense" it and hand them out which I could do any time I wish. I also do this with a couple of my salesmen when we are out on the road and it makes for great relationship building.kurtdesign1 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 11:42 amBrought one of the upcoming TL Johnson release cigars from my visit with Terry last summer and gave it to a client instead of smoking it myself. Also when ever I load up a travel humidor and I know I will be in the presence of others I do often ask myself if I am okay with giving this stick to someone else. I believe it goes back to Bob and Dale when they mentioned always throw one or two extra cigars in because you never know who you are going to run into.

Last night and this late morning... Not sure if I agree with the Top 25 Best Cigar of 2011 moniker, but a decent smoke, for sure.

Well, this Aging Room is much better in this figurado shape than it was in the robusto. Or maybe it was simply bettter compared to the wonderfully bad movie it accompanied. Ths film, however, may have the best bad-movie title of all time.

Yep. It would’ve been right up their alley except for having to cut the first 5 minutes of the film for nudenessity.

I haven't watched all of the Jonah Ray/Patton Oswalt new MST3K episodes but I thought I heard they were not network TV rated anymore since they're on Netflix. The ones I saw were normal, IIRC but something about that sounds familiar. Can you conrirm?

I’ve watched a couple of the new ones on Amazon. They go by “RiffTrax.” I thought, though, that it was, mostly, the older crew.kurtdesign1 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 07, 2018 3:04 pmI haven't watched all of the Jonah Ray/Patton Oswalt new MST3K episodes but I thought I heard they were not network TV rated anymore since they're on Netflix.
