That cigar trolled me, hard. I'm interested to hear your reaction to the show!

The show was great and very fun to listen to while smoking along with you guys. That was the first time I had this cigar so overall beyond the guesses for the Undercrown I would say you guys were spot on for flavors and presentation. Know the origin and band it was interesting to list to your reasoning. Looking forward to doing the same for the next 3 :). Hopefully schedules work out and I will be able to join you guys for one of them.

That's absolutely the hope when we smoke unbandeds. In the Dogwatch days I enjoyed those episodes the most, as a listener.
Let's be honest. We don't put out the most formatted or formal cigar review show. Unbanded episodes, while not formal, per se, offer up a hightened opportunity for us to be "cigar-centric". For as much as I don't want to come across as a pretentious and serious tasting panel, I DO truly enjoy deep diving into how a cigar comes across and represents itself, its manufacturer and its origin. There are times that I wish we had figured out and established a more serious tone on that front.
I love hanging out but sometimes feel like I'm betraying the audience if Kip or I (I, more likely) go too far into the realm of "asshole, blowhard, know-it-all" territory. That said, 3 out of 4 shows I prefer herfing with my friend. I'd miss that a helluva lot more if it was abandoned for a more rigid, serious tone.

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

Franky, those original MF Padilla's are as rare as Hen's teeth and as tasty as anything I've ever had from them. Glad you enjoyed!

Headley Grange from yesterday. Was good, but I think my palate is moving away from Sumatra-wrapped cigars...Image

Fuente — can’t remember which — action on Tuesday. Slight cap malfunction, but smoked like a champ. Image

I thought I had smoked it already, so I was surprised as heck when I saw it. Special cigar, Craig — thank you again, sir!

When we visited the LFD factory, Kip and I were given an LFD Air Bender pederoso tube. Smoked it this afternoon and really enjoyed the first half. It's a pretty strong cigar, flavor-wise, and it really built up on my soft pallet. Did not finish it, leaving about 2". Durn.
