It will be interesting to see if the disaster relief package that comes to them (aide or what ever you want to call it) will essentially cover the debt cost also.
Now whether it is used properly and they truly get back on solid ground might be another story.

Puerto Rico's debt is around 73 Billion. Feds won't be covering that. They will eventually go bankrupt and whoever owns the bonds will take a really big haircut. Probably lose 100% of their investment.jledou wrote:It will be interesting to see if the disaster relief package that comes to them (aide or what ever you want to call it) will essentially cover the debt cost also.

Re: Big Day
How was your commute this morning?
White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise....

Having now heard most of the show I finally understand this picture. Eek!
How is the overall condition of the road, post-hurricane/flooding?

Re: Big Day
I've mentioned the Herculean efforts that the current Santiago mayor is undertaking to clean up. In addition to the cleaning and painting, I've begun to notice guys going around taking down extraneous wires. Their job is to figure out and untangle (and know what is actually in use at the moment) an entire city worth of this:

Re: Big Day
Also according to the sign in you photo-"the Mario galaxy" is in the DR... an entire pocket galaxy who knew? Pretty sure this is an ad for the Nintendo game Super Mario Galaxy.Kip wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2017 8:59 pmI've mentioned the Herculean efforts that the current Santiago mayor is undertaking to clean up. As a side note on the original packaging for Super Mario Galaxy if you take the letters that sparkle you spell "U R MR GAY"

I think that's a rather *shocking* proposal.Kip wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2017 8:59 pmI've mentioned the Herculean efforts that the current Santiago mayor is undertaking to clean up. I don't think I could *zap* my way through it.
Are the workers *buzzing* with anticipation?
I sure hope they can do it from the *ground*.
Ok. I'm tired so I'll *close the circuit* to any more puns. See, that last one made my hair stand on end...
