Friday Night's Delight

Oliva V Double Robusto.

The last of a decent box. Some were actually not the greatest, so were pretty good. I can't believe how far the quality has fallen off on this once amazing cigar. Right after they won COTY in 2008, they were smoking lights out for about 4 years. Now they seem to be a shell of themselves, every once in a while. Just missing that deep richness. Now they are a ton of black pepper up front and then mellow out into a carmel and almond toastiness. Ahhhh I remember the days....

A J. Fuego Connoisseur from @815DC. I love these things. They're a little rough around the edges...not finesse...like me. I had let them slip out of mind before DC sent them. I'll be investing in them on my next stateside trip.
