Much better than the Canonazo. Actually one of the best cigars I have had this year. This one just hit me right.

I can agree with that.. I will definitely give it a try.. you should try la leyenda de milagro great price and the repo is fantastic.. what I've been getting into is Mezcal I love the smokiness and cooked agave taste, but I'm wondering if most of that is due to me coming from a state that's know for some of the best Mezcal in Mexico..

I have TRIED mescal over the years and have just never found the right answer to what I'm craving. It's just too much. Maybe, maybe it can be an interesting little sip but man, I can't even think of what that could be.

Classing this place back up with a Leoninos Corojito during a muggy rainy Wednesday afternoon. I get the best weather on my day off

About to light this joker up, a gift from @815DC. I haven't had one in quite some time, but I always thought they were one of the more underrated cigars around. I believe this is because they (Xikar) introduced them at too high a price point and they didn't sell well - despite Xikar's presence in accessories, I think people tend to be wary of an expensive entry into the cigar space. They tried to reboot with a lower price, which led to folks looking at them with a tainted eye and wonder why the price so suddenly dropped. A prime example of misinformed or misplaced market research and a correction that backfired. They were solid AJF (if I remember correctly) sticks....let's see if they still are.

I'm totally going on my increasingly worse memory here, but HC comes in basically two groups since Xikerr sold/teamed/something with CI. The boxes of the regular stuff and these bundled sticks- White, Black, and Red. The white robustos were pleasant enough smokes and considering the roghly $2-3 price tag one can find them for are a solid buy.

Cattle Baron and a pork chop. I always forget how good chops and cigars are together!

The last of these HC White label robustos on a nice sunny evening to celebrate a cubs win. Now to head back inside on completion and finish the Defenders on Netflix.
