There was the option of an opened box with 4 gone from '13, or this one from '16. I opened this one and went for newer. They are good looking cigars !

I received a very nice package from Mr. Fisher of an order I placed for some VERY region specifc cigars. :) The smaller, not quite beautiful (cough, cough) cigars are from the campo north of Santiago, DR, and the larger ones are made for our friend William (and sold from a small shop in his home), with whom Kip works. Not much available in terms of components for these, but they are, here in the states, the most colorfully storied cigars you're going to have anytime soon. The three banded cigars were a surprise to me, so we'll have to let Kip chime in about them. Muchas gracias, mi hombre!

The ADN (Spanish for DNA) is a new project by La Aurora. They feature Andullo, a Dominican method of fermentation. Neat stuff, although the cigars are a bit brusk. The Cantinero are made by Chico (former Quesada master blender; same guy that makes Chogüí) for my friend Dave who has opened a new shop in Santiago. I dig 'em

Count me lucky about the packages from kipper. I received mine as well, though I haven't done anything but breka down the box yet. My little ones are in a package frenzy these days. That's what having a selfless grandma out of state will do. They expect everythign to be for them. lol.
Thanks compadre!

I owe debts of gratitude to DC and Stewmuse, both of which sent me generous packages. Muchísimas gracias, hermanitos! I don't have pics because....well,because after a nearly fruitless and expensive trip that came away empty handed I'm friggin tired, stressed, and more than a little lazy. I'll definitely be sure to post pics one-at-a-time as I fire them up though. Thanks, fellers!

Does that mean you are still in limbo over your ability to stay there status? Booooo!

And, BTW, how am I your little brother??? I'm at least 10 years your senior, methinks!
