True at least you know your chicken is fresh ... I am sure there is a joke in there about chocking your chicken early in the morning but I will let that one slide

Re: Big Day
So our "big day" was yesterday morning at 4am when our plumbing backed up into our kitchen and bathroom...
Not just grey water, but shit water. Last 2 days have been a mix of the restoration company tearing out things and figuring out insurance. Happy to report my cigars (personal humidors and business humidors) are all safe, but a lot of other stuff was lost. Luckily my wife was on top of documenting everything, so we have pics to help with insurance.
The restoration people are blocking off our kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and hallway. The kids' bedroom was the only room not affected. Waiting to hear if insurance will pay for a place to stay, so for now we're at the in laws! Joy!
But don't worry, we're in good spirits here. Since we're all brothers here, figure sharing the good along with the bad is only fair

Re: Big Day
Sorry to hear that, Ian. Really. But, in hopes of making you feel a little better, I have a story about bodily fluid exposure. Early in my time here, we had a team of dental students down doing a clinic for the people in Villa González. We rigged up a room with 10 "stations" where they were scraping, cleaning, and working in folks' mouths who'd never had any type of dental care. There were shallow cardboard boxes with some dirt inside at each station to be used for rinse & spit purposes. My friend Nick picked one up to go empty it....and the thing folded in on itself and spilt a voluminous amount of spit, blood, and mud all down his arm. It still gags me to this day to think of it.....but better him than me. I'm not sure but I think he still subconsciously holds his cigars and food only with the other hand
