Did you mean to include the word "bacteria?"

Sure did. There are trillions of "good" bacteria in your digestive tract. Those badboys are strong enough to kick the snot out of the bacteria that would otherwise make us food poisoned, in many cases.

No, silly. I meant the quote to read: Kip's gut could take over the continental US...

no bacteria required.

Yo, Señor Fisher! Haven't heard much from you in a while. How is life in the Gringominican Republic??? How's your residency status coming along?

Maybe this is a real problem here - it genuinely would not surprise me. None the less, this sign seems unnecessary.

These are my favorite. There's nothing like a bit of signage to throw the world into a tizzy. FWIW, I've seen how people drive down there. This would not surprise me, either.

They're making the rounds arresting people who are in an "irregular status" living in Santiago. Nationwide, there have been over 10,000 deportations to 13 countries since April 1st. For those who don't know, we've been illegal for some time now. We're finally going back to try and renew visas in July, just trying to avoid The Man until then :).

It'd dang sure be helpful if the Immigration folks actually knew how we could get legal. We literally have 6 differing lists of required documentation. We've been told it's not even possible. We've been told it costs $125 US per person. We've been told it's upwards ofb$1500US per person. It's a broken system. I've truly never had to navigate this kind of broken bureaucracy.....and I spent almost 20 years working with the EPA, Dept of Labor (Federal, TN, and FL), FL Dept of Corrections, and many more. I once swore these agencies would be the end of me due to their ineptitude and bureaucratic lunacy.

I knew nothing of which I spoke. Image

Best of luck Kip. Give a shout when you are stateside so I can send a care package... in fact if it is in later july I could even take some time off depending on how long you are up here.
