Guessing from the size, it looks like a SunGrown 858 to me....and the rapidity of the described burn is insane! Must have been the special gasoline-infused edition :)
It was an 858 Sungrown, indeed. All of the cigars in the box I own have smoked pretty quickly, usually about 50 minutes or so, but this one was, well, smokin!

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

Used to love the Pepin Cuban Classic. Once my last couple are gone, that might be it for them...

Enjoying the 50 degree sunshine with a poor boy special. A bmf nic bound charoot from stew and a cheap brew called Rockdale that I got at Wal-Mart. Actually not terrible for what it is. Had a sweetness to it. This is the light I got the reg in the fridge.

I imagine it's some of both, but I do recall their being a pretty sharp divide a few years and even though I've kept trying them, the original enjoyment has certainly not returned.
