Re: Cigarro del dia - numero seis
Name- Hoosiers Heartbreaker
Size- 6.5x38
Wrapper- Habano 2000
Binder- Nicaraguan
Filler- (25%)Nicaraguan Ligero,(50%)Brazillian Mata Fina,(25%)Brazilian Habano Viso
I had the second extra one of these I made last night... It's really, really good! I've paired the Brazilian tobaccos together before (my Bahia blend), but the added Nic binder and ligero, plus a the Hab 2000 wrapper are great additions. Plus, it's a lancero, of which I am only have one "reglar production blend" in that size. This one is joining the official ranks at casa trompeta. Good choices, Hoosier!

Re: Cigarro del dia - numero seis
The first online order I ever made was in 2007. It was after my brand new bride and I moved into our first apartment. The sampler I ordered was a CAO world box with 2 each of the Brazil, italia, mX2, and the American. They were the first cigars besides my wedding gift of Padròn 1964 imperials to go into my new humidor. I'd been smoking about 1 year.
I haven't smoked an Italia in 9.5 years, but this one transported me back in time from first light. Not a great smoke, but good enough and consistent enough to be an archetype for one of the best reasons I know of to smoke these rolls of tobacco.

Glad to hear things were to your liking. The construction is outstanding and Lanceros are tough buggers to get right. Thanks for the opportunity to choose some leaves to throw together. We need to talk about how I am going to get some more from you. Thanks again brother.Stewmuse wrote:Name- Hoosiers Heartbreaker

I'm gonna roll two to three dozen of these over the next few days. Wanna do a box or half-box trade? I can get you a short list of "comparably priced" cigars I like to smoke. I'll then contact you when I'm ready to ship.BowhuntnHoosier wrote:Stewmuse wrote:Name- Hoosiers Heartbreaker

And this also works for anyone else who wants more of their "private stock/blend" sent to them. Thanks!

Re: Cigarro del dia - numero seis
The Italia is a cigar that was in my humidor for the first year or two of my smoking life that also fell by the wayside. I haven't had but one in the last five or six years. I wonder what it is about that cigar that lures you in and then gradually disappoints.IWinchester wrote:The first online order I ever made was in 2007.
