This is a great size and a really good AM smoke, staying pretty light throughout.

Trying to relax after a week of sudden policy changes and gringo round-ups that make our quest to get legal again kick into high gear. Here's to hoping I don't get deported before someone signs off on residency. Really. Not kidding. Puckered.

Got this from a Belgian gent I met while waiting for a flight out of Vegas at IPCPR. I have to say it's pretty dang good. He has a factory in Tamboril, so maybe I'll have to get over there and see what else they make....

I love that you have a real connection to your stories. Awesome.
Now, let's hope he STILL has a factory in Tamboril...

Dug up his contact info. He's from the Netherlands, not Belgium (although he's been in the DR for many, many years). The factory is still there, and is next door to PDR in the La Palma Zona Franca. It's called Inter Cigar. Definitely gonna try and make contact when I get the chance. His name is Maurice Antonius Koks.

Two pretty average smokes. The La Galera was better than the Torano, but the guide we had at La Palma was really touting this one. Eh...
