Well, having some very specific, first-hand experience about how a blend can change/develop/mature, I can confidently say that, no shocker, here, age can definitely help a cigar. At four and a half years, these are mellowing out and are creamier while still maintaining a lot of flavor.

Despite being an unintended gimmick cigar, I like those a fair bit. They sure do go well with a heavy meal.

It's been 10 years now but before SCHIP and the FDA fears and regular price hikes, I could buy the Padron 2000, slightly longer robusto, for about $4. What a frickin steal that cigar was.
