Re: Cigar Hauls
Yesterday was a great cigar day. In addition to the outstanding selection from Frank (per our World Series wager), these beauties arrived.

I need to re-up on some Melanio's, too. Good haul, Stew.Stewmuse wrote:Yesterday was a great cigar day. In addition to the outstanding selection from Frank (per our World Series wager), these beauties arrived.

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

Re: Cigar Hauls
I only get to stock up once in a while, so I make it worth the trip. I don't have the budget of some big-fish on this sight...*coughKurtcough*. So I make up for it when I do get a chance. I just got super lucky this year. The Trinidads and Saint Luis Rey were released the one day I was there and gone before the day was out. Everywhere. They will be harder to find, even online unless you are willing to pay. So I jumped on the chance as I would have never been able to afford them later.
As for the custom rolls, well Craig knows why I got more.

Re: Cigar Hauls
Couple things. I have a friend who owns every RE ever produced. I don't believe he was on the island last week (two weeks, actually) to procure any. Would you sell a box of each at a profit? I'm sure I could arrange it if you'd like to make back a little cash. Just drop me a line if you'd like me to reach out to him.
Secondly, where'd you get the Varnished?! I thought they stopped producing them for a while. No? I had heard they were going the way of the dodo without officially being on the discontinued list. Man I love Dalia vitolas.
Finally, thanks for getting those customs. Where are yours? Aren't you sending those to me?

Re: Cigar Hauls
No selling of boxes. I rarely sell anything, I mainly trade. These I am not sure what I am going to do. I usually wait for reviews and friends commenting on how a new cigar is, then decide whether I am smoking or trading. I would rather have it and not be forced to search.
The 898 only come in varnished. They are in the cardboard boxes, of course, but varnished only now.

The Escogida stuff is spoken for already....by me. Always one bundle to smoke through for the next 2 years and one to age together for 3.

Re: Cigar Hauls
Time to try a couple of new to me cigars. The Illusione Fume d'mour and the CAO Amazon Basin are my first of these.

Thumbs up, dude. Just thought I'd offer. I have a feeling you'll be happy about that. Interesting cigars always come with that cache of mystery when you age them yourself.Zedman05 wrote:No selling of boxes. I rarely sell anything, I mainly trade.
