Last nights 2nd Delight.
Romacraft Aquataine Kuckledragger pre-banding.
This thing had a couple years on it already, and was starting to yellow the cello. Was a very good habano wrapper example. I have drveloped a palate for Habano over the years, and these are definitely in my wheelhouse. Delicious ! 85

Re: Cigar(s) O' the Day - Part Deux
A Kelner Smoking Jacket and a Behike 52. The 52 was dirty. Raw & flavorful, this cigar was about as macho as Randy Savage, though not as ostentatious. Randy would have been a CAO Illusion, in terms of ostentatatiousness. I'll talk about this on the show tonight but it really left me with a bit of a contridiction in my mind when comparing it to the Tempus I smoked from Mike last week. Good convo ahead...
The Smoking jacket was had second and I'm curious if it was just buried by the Behike. I thought it was boring, typical, dull almost. I'm looking forward to the second example on a cleaner palate. I might even write something up...

Last nights Delights.
1- San Cristobal El Principe '12
Very very good minuto. I love these cigars, and even more when they are "on". Rich flavors.
2- An unnamed cigar that was part of the blind reviews that I sent to Kipmiester. I wanted to smoke the Sir Winnie, but time restraint was a factor.
I was happy either way as I LOVE the "blind review stick"

One for this morning!
I went to an event last night at my local B&M and got to meet Jon Drew and Willy Herrera of Drew Estate. They were nice guys.

Last nights Delight.
1- El Escogida Lonsdale wrapped in a broadleaf wrapper.
Too wet still and wouldn't draw properly. Was tired of fighting with it, so I pitched it 1/3 in.
2- Punch Punch. No date code known
Was very smooth. I like these as a changeup, but it is mainly just a "regular" smoking experience. Nothing wowed me. Much better than the previous cigar.

Re: Cigar(s) O' the Day - Part Deux
7 or 8 years ago when the SS2s were starting to dry up on the market, everyone was going gaga for them and ignoring the three other CGs that Punch offered. While I was subjective to the matter because I owned a cab of SS2s I still didn't get what all the fuss was about. Yes they were good but the other vitolas were equally so. I don't think any of them in the past 12 or 13 years were getting superior tobacco to the other. The Black Princes were milder but that didn't necessarily mean that they were less flavorful. The Punch Punch's were more whiskey like and not as rich as the SSs but when on their profile was just as satisfying.
Give them another try. When you get a real star, you'll know it. They are one of the great sticks that that marque has to offer

Trouble ahead, though. I'm completely out of butane and now down to my last lighter with any juice....
