Courtesy of @zedman, while I wait for my truck to cool back down. For the umpteenth time I busted a coolant hose going up the mountain.... Image

No pic of the actual cigar for this, as it was a blind test... and I was totally fooled. About a 5x50, this Cuban Hoyo Epicure No. 2 was closer to a predominantly Nicaraguan with hints of Dominican leaf cigar. And it was WONDERFUL. I am not a huge fan of Cuban cigars, but this was, easily, the most enjoyable one I’ve ever had. Thanks, Craig!

Smoked a JSK Nugg ($12). It was good. The added CBD oil definitely had an effect. I feel like listening to some Grateful Dead! I’d buy it again. Image

I smoked the last of a remarkable box the other day. They were all so rich and flavorful. I am definitely picking more up this year/next trip.

There's a fun story here. Kip sent me some young Cuban cigars this last trip to the states for him so that we can review them on the show. I am familiar with them all but from a vintage perspective. I have been smoking the first of what he sent (he sent multiples of each) and waiting to smoke the last on the show. Well, these Epi2s were so good I smoked both that he sent... and bought a 5er of additional. They arrived just before I met up with Mike and gave him one of those. I concur. The current Hoyos have been stellar!

Played some xBox with @815DC last night and enjoyed this little number that he'd sent me this summer. I dug it. Image

As big as they are, those damned San Juan's are amazingly light and refreshing. A joy to smoke. There is one in the box pass....just sayin

What was smoked... the Leoninos was good as they usually are. Earth and some sweet spice. I will be sad when this box and the other are gone as that is all that remains. The Old Henry was a new experience and was pleasant enough. Had some decent flavors and was kind enough not to knock me over after smoking it directly after the Leon.
