It was. My best friend is a serious SW fan. He and his other friends spend thousands building costumes and doing charity events with the 501st. He had a Star Wars party at his house every year for 6 years. I am what you'd call "less serious" than they are, so the running gag was, I'd show up with something not-quite-Star-Wars. This was Dark Helmet, of course. I also did Count Sodoku, Garth Maul, etc....

The 501st stuff is cool and its good to hear those guys helping in charities after dropping that kind of money. They may actually be the hook to get the wife on board, however I'm a little fat for a storm trooper lol.
