Sometimes, you just need a good, 7" Dominican! Courtesy of Kip's friend William's store exclusive...

Had our morning water filter trip scrubbed, so I've had the a.m. open waiting til afternoon English class. This robusto from William's connection is still going strong after 2+ hours. All for 100 pesos (~$2.25 US)

Pulled out number 2 from my batch from Mike. Very earthy and wooded, mellowed a little but still heavy on the nicotine and unbalanced. Maybe another 6-8 months on these before they get somewhere to where they are smokable. Reminds me that a blender I am not ImageImage

That was one of my first bigger purchases. I had bought a couple 5-packs of those back when I first started smoking. They were too full for me then. I haven't had one in probably 8 years though.

Our friends have been in the process of adopting a young Dominican girl for the past 18 months. They've really been through the wringer, but today officially got Dominican guardianship of her - a momentous landmark in the process. He offered up Opus A's in celebration. I did not refuse.....
