I really like CC and NC cigars, but I think my preference would depend on WHERE I was. In Europe, I would choose CC cuz they carry almost every brand. In the US it's an obvious choice of NCs. Now, if it was as apocalyptic situation, I would go for vast amounts of CCs since some are prone to aging very very well!

I would definitely choose quality over quantity. In fact, that's basically what I do now, anyways. There are a few days a year when I might have 2 or 3 cigars in one afternoon, but usually it's 1 or 2 a month (due to schedule and all). The summer time finds me enjoying a couple a week, but as soon as the kids are busy with their activities, I'm down to a couple a month. So - it's definitely quality for me!

The end result is that I seem much more of a collector than a smoker. For every 5-pk I buy, I only smoke a couple and the rest seem to chill out in the humidor for a long time. I really need to start finding more time...

This is precisely my position. Now, in the spirit of Kid Corona's post (I think this is his question) would you be willing to smoke 20% as often as you do now for the "quality" or would you be willing to smoke at your current pace and make them all $5 sticks? Only being one who smokes a handful a month (not for the show) I think I wouldn't be willing to lower that just to keep the Padron's & Montecristos in the rotation. I still get a lot of enjoyment out of value cigars.

To answer the question, I would certainly smoke 20% less than I do now if that was the way to keep the quality of cigar in my lineup.

In fact, I feel the exact same way about my craft beer and libations.

My last post was dropped here, too.

Cigars, or any other hobby or activity, be it working out, spending time with a specific person, or whatever your preference, are really all the same. Sometimes ya gotta MAKE time to have time...

I'm seeing some slight differences between Tapatalk and the actual site itself. These should finalize shortly...the site is good to go right now, complete with @Stewmuse pithy comments :)
