Half Ashed live?

Ask us about or recommend show cigars, guests, segments, topics, stupid things we've said, etc. You can even just tell us we suck here...

Show tonight, 5-18???
I don't think so. We recorded the pipe show last week; I just haven't posted it up yet. Coming this weekend.

Last night, you host-guys went on (yet another interminable 😃) rant about small B&M owners not doing enough to spread the word about the FDA legislation. It occurred to me this morning that perhaps part of this has to do with just not wanting to face a feared, potentially no-win situation, on a daily basis. Perhaps they just don’t want to constantly be confronted with very real possibility that their business will be coming to a close. Not the smartest business plan, for sure, but maybe that’s the only way they can cope with the situation. Just wandering...

Or maybe, like always, it takes adversity and an issue, for people to get off their comfortable chair and fight. You don't see the satisfied middle class rise up.

This is on me, actually. We were planning to record on Saturday the 9th(10th?) but I had house guests that stayed longer than I had expected. Kip has been very clear about his availability since but deciding on the fly is much harder on my end. I think I can do tomorrow night. I need to make sure and then communicate that to Kip.

Just as a PSA, we will probably be recording some time off-schedule next week. My cohorts are flying back Friday night and I need to help get them at the airport.
