We're back...and now Tapatalk friendly

Post by Kip » Fri Jul 18, 2014 4:35 pm

I know the old forum never really took off, due in large part to its inability to load unread posts through Taptalk. Well...we're back! The current software does everything we need. It maintains our goal of a single user sign-on for chat/website/forum, and it should be 100% Tapatalk capable. Now, we have no excuse for not taking advantage of it. Have at it!

What's the fuss about Tapatalk? :?: I downloaded it and it seems that the only particularly positive feature is multiple forum access. You don't get to see the real pages or have any improved functionality. Not complaining, but wonder what I'm missing

I think mainly it's mobile. Forums have gone mobile - centric ahead of everything in else.....although in general traffic from mobile devices is about 50% of our total now.

Other than that, it's a single login for all the fora you frequent, all gathered in one place, it will only show you the unread posts since your last visit if you wish, etc. It can even be used to post WordPress blog entries,

What do you mean "real pages?
