Man In The High Castle

Post by kurtdesign1 » Mon Apr 03, 2017 9:13 am

Has anyone read the book? I finished the Amazon series a month or so ago and was enamored with the idea. I've heard that the two stories differed quite a bit but would love to give it a go if anyone can recommend. I've tried reading P.K.Dick in the past and had some struggles. I'm interested in his style with this one and whether the adaptation corrected some frustrating aspects of the original story or was just another way of telling it.

They sure were good, weren't they? Man, I decided to give it a try and before I knew it, the first season had ended. The way it ended made me immediately start the 2nd. It wasn't a cliffhanger, per se, but the way they opened the storytelling up to an entirely new way of expressing the plot was brilliant. Really, really good.
