Cigar mold press

Post by Stewmuse » Fri Aug 01, 2014 6:30 pm

A mold press is used after each mold is filled. The molds are then stacked in the press and it is clamped firmly down, often with several molds pressed at a time. The cigars/molds are typically left in the press for about 30 minutes, and then the mold is removed, opened, and the cigars are then rotated 90 degrees and repressed to eliminate any leaf seams. They are pressed another 30 minutes (or thereabouts, depending on the company) and the cigars are then removed to have the final wrapper applied.

Yep. That's what I used early on in the game. If you are pressing more than one mold, this works better. Besides, it looks WAY cool on the shelf!
