Holiday drinking
Something old, something new (and blue). The Advent Mini-booze tree has finished its third year and now we’ve added the Twelve Days if Christmas Champagne “snowflake.” Enjoy and possibly be inspired...

Re: Holiday drinking
You could make a menora (sp?) and have 8 nights of Hannukah Hooch...

Holiday drinking
This year I made my own Beer Advent Calendar from the Create Your Own 6pack shelved I the grocery store. However I’m more into whiskey then beer. Next year I’m going to try your Hooch Tree idea.Stewmuse wrote:Something old, something new (and blue). Where did you find the tree and snow flake?

Re: Holiday drinking
From my garage workbench, thanks. We might do beers instead of champagne next year.Cabaiguan juan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2019 12:52 amThis year I made my own Beer Advent Calendar from the Create Your Own 6pack shelved I the grocery store. Re: Holiday drinking
I made the tree out of a piece 2' x 4' finished birch (from my local Menards - I think they refer them as Handy Panels). The individual shelves are made from a piece 1" x 2" pine, each cut about 3" long long. Each individual shelf is attached via a screw from the back side. To get the desired pattern of shelves (with the correct number, of course), I laid them out loosely onto the cut tree, then marked the center of each and drilled a pilot hole into the board. There is a simple, soft door stop attached to the upper, back point so it rests more stably against the wall. Have fun!
