I can't trust a coffee with more than 3 words in its name.

Fair enough. I have since discovered this year's Starbucks seasonal release. It's fanflippin tastic, and I don't always love dark roast (though this is my 2nd dark roast offering here...)
Starbucks Christmas Blend 2018. Does this qualify, Kip? technically the last part is not words.

Picked up a box of the 2018 Christmas Blend K-Cups at Costco and I would agree that it hits the spot in the morning.

Been pounding down the Nespresso coffees — an assortment of flavors. Love their country selections

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

Mostly cheap off-the-shelf, filler-ridden swill. It's been a scant two years of coffee production in Palo Alto, so I haven't been able to get any of the locals' earthy goodness. This is actually an indication of a growing problem. The small family production here has dropped off to all but non-existent. A coffee "rust" killed off a lot of the plants, and as a whole Dominican coffee production is in a major slump. But, small growers have realized they can make more money by clearing the land to raise cattle or plant other sun-hungry crops. Since coffee needs some shade, the amount of suitable land is less, and combined with the pursuit of other crops it's shrinking quickly. I try to make friends with everyone I can where I see coffee plants growing in the mountains
BUT, there's hope. Amado has taken to planting hundreds of coffee plants around his hillsides. Maybe in a couple/few more years I'll be in good supply.
