... You tend to make it a big one.

Taco salad with turkey taco meat, spicy nacho doritos, shredded pepperjack, butter and red lettuce. Had an assortment of dressings to pick from and added some black reserve el yucateco habanero hot sauce to kick it up.

I eat salad at lunch a lot. Either Ceasar with lots of bacon, or Greek with feta dressing. As the summer comes along, a ice cool meal is more enjoyable for me.

I'm growing Bib, Romaine and Red lettuce this year. If you want a good time, GRILL romaine, split in half. High heat and brushed with Oil before. Immediately when it comes off sprinkle shaved Parm on it. A little tasty vinegar right on the lettuce and you have the perfect summer salad. If your heat was high enough it will still be moderately crispy with that grilled, cheesy and tangy flavor from the vinegar. Awesome and simple. Little tip about lettuce's. You can cut them off right above the "core" and they'll just grow back until the first frost.

Tonight's salad finished off a head of Iceberg along with some baby spinach and carrots. Topped it with some sweet n spicy tuna for protein and off camera a drizzle of red dressing.
