I'm not really much of a drinker, but on rare occasions I like a Highland or Island malt - Aberlour, Dalwhinnie or Talisker (in its 18yo expression).
White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise....

I like some of them. I find SOME american whiskeys to be palatable, most Irish and zero Scottish. I think the ol cheapies like Chivas and Crown best suit my tastes. I've had some great others but for the money, I'm NOT experimenting.Zedman05 wrote:Just can't palate whiskey's of any ilk.

Believe it or not Scotch makes portions of my mouth numb like I just left the dentist. It's totally a fun trick to play on me after drunk; getting me to take a drink of Glen Whatever.
