Coffee!!

Most of us like a nice cup of the black stuff with our cigars. I'm heading camping this weekend and the best tool I've found for this (and every morning for that matter) is the Aeropress.

Delicious coffee as strong as you want to make it! Also, some smokes for the weekend

Not an Aeropress fan. Spent a few months with one and it was just too acidic. I like cold brew or regular french press. Yum! I have a Saeco Magic Plus II at work. Fan friggin tastic!

Lower temperature then recommended makes the aeropress much less acidic. I do 175-185 depending on the bean and let it steep 90-120 seconds. To echo, yum!

I love coffee! ! I also use an aero press. I need to try a lower temp water as I use 195* which makes a more acidic brew. I need a good flat burr grinder which also cuts the acidity. Cone burr grinders increase it..

I love coffee, too! I have some cheap Cuisinart drip maker I bought at Walmart. 8 o' clock beans to feed it. Yum....

I also have a Bialetti like the Dogwatch folks, for days when regular strength won't do. I make (at least try to) Café Cubano with that.

Interesting about the different burrs impacting acidity. I'll assume I don't have an issue here because I get satisfactory cups brewing differently than the Aero. Why is this?

Not sure what u mean, Craig. Why do u get better coffee? Or why do different grinds affect acidity? Overall it's like cigars, drink what ya like and like what ya drink

after re reading my post about grinders its kind of misleading.. both types of grinders produce great coffee but its more about grind quality vs money vs consistancy vs vs vs that will effect the total outcome. Entry cone start at 200 to $300 then flat 300 to 6ish and back to cone at 600- 4000 with the grind supposedly getting better and more consistant which affects taste.. so I guess based on your money, you can make a "more perfect" cup.. whatever that means..

Im saving for a nicer grinder. My burr broke so im using a blade grinder at the moment... uggggg
