If you take medication that contra-indicates antacids, it's probably not a good idea to have leftover bratwurst for breakfast. Especially with sauerkraut accompaniment.

Weave a 5x5 raft of raw bacon. Pat out 0.5-1 lb of mild Italian sausage onto the raft. Sprinkle with a good BBQ rub and drizzle with BBQ sauce. Cover with some crumbled, cooked bacon. Roll up the sausage into a loaf (pinwheel). Then, wrap the Bacon raft around the loaf and tuck in the edges. Sprinkle with more BBQ rub and throw in the smoker for 3-3.5 hours. Voila!
