Breakfast!

Post by Kip » Tue Oct 28, 2014 10:31 am

If you take medication that contra-indicates antacids, it's probably not a good idea to have leftover bratwurst for breakfast. Especially with sauerkraut accompaniment.

Just sayin'.

Anything qualifies as breakfast as long as you eat it in the AM. Except maybe curry...

Bacon explosion. It's what's for breakfast!

Aside from bacon, what's wrapped inside? Looks, um... healthy!

Weave a 5x5 raft of raw bacon. Pat out 0.5-1 lb of mild Italian sausage onto the raft. Sprinkle with a good BBQ rub and drizzle with BBQ sauce. Cover with some crumbled, cooked bacon. Roll up the sausage into a loaf (pinwheel). Then, wrap the Bacon raft around the loaf and tuck in the edges. Sprinkle with more BBQ rub and throw in the smoker for 3-3.5 hours. Voila!
