Now we know the origins of "metric buttload." Evidently, Kip is a Euro-Hillbilly.

The measure continued long after medieval times. In fact, this practice led to the style of pipe tobacco known as a "navy flake." Traditionally (although not necessarily today), a "navy flake" was topped with rum....back in the day, rum "butts" that had been emptied in the colonies were used to carry the tobacco to England. This would impart a slight flavoring to the tobacco.

All this is based on vague memory from a tumor-addled mind. Take it at face value...

And from last week's show opening, Mr. Schneider, during a conversation, offered his own brand of math...

Kip: "... in a just a couple of days."

Craig: "Or even in 48 hours!..."

Quotes are approximate, but yep, that happened.
