DOMINICAN REPUBLICAN TRIP 2020!!!
Greetings, all. After a one-year hiatus, my annual visit to see and work with Kip in the DR is officially back on track! I will be traveling there the first week of January. If you have items which you wish to donate or send, contact me via private message and we can discuss what is possible and how to get it to me so I can get it to him. I know that some of you are somewhat new to the forum and are not overly familiar with me or these trips, so I encourage/invite you to look at my posts here from previous trips (2016, 17, and 18) to see what we do. Or, heck, perhaps some of you who have witnessed these posts and/or contributed items in the past can give a short testimonial. Our specific plans there are not yet formalized, but I have floated a unique idea to him. Hope to hear from you!

We'll be sure to take as many trips as possible across the main elevated roadway in town. This taken yesterday....

Also, I don't believe there are any real precautions besides repellent, but you may want to check CDC recommendations about Dengue before you come down. It's getting pretty serious right now. It happens every year, but there are a bunch more cases than normal this time of year, and several deaths recently. Even if you get it, it's pretty treatable with access to American healthcare, but it ain't fun.

Howdy, Folks. It's getting close to crunch time if you're planning on sending me any materials (i.e., mostly cigars) to take down to Kip. (Thanks, DC!) Private message me for my address and any details if you feel like jumping on this bandwagon. Thanks!

Day 1.
After a VERY early flight arrival (4:30am), we had a smoke in his balcony in the AM and then went to Cabinet cigar stire and lounge before heading to lunch. What else would one expect to eat in the DR except awesome Lebanese food?!!! And Kip is now two Aquitaines into the weekend.
