Tapatalk Kin

To anyone using Tapatalk, what is this Kin thing? Is it some sort of Krypto currency or form of street cred? I keep getting prompted to give it out and I’ve amassed quite a few of them.

I use, install, and maintain Tapatalk....and don't really know either. I see mention of it all the time but it never seemed of enough value for me to even bother reading what it is. I always assumed it some kind of 'street cred' thing like a thumbs-up that goes with your account rather than a specific post.

It is a cryptocurrency yes. Also it can be disabled on tapatalk somewhere in your settings.

On mine, you go to your main home page in Tapatalk (not in a specific forum), open your profile, and uncheck 'kin rewards'. That turns it off everywhere.
