After taking some amount of kickback over the amount of pencil-holder showing in that photo, I fixed it with a traditional black box edit. Funny I hadn't noticed that tattoo earlier.

Hmm.... the bar is okay, but shouldn't the tat be the label/logo for the Tramp Stamp?

I think my favorite part of the photo is her sweet smile. It's like she had no idea that she was posing for a meme on our website. Poor Lass.

All the seriousness in the world: I think the black bar actually makes this worse for me. I think I'll go wash myself. With some sandpaper.

Hey @Stewmuse....remember like a week ago when I told you the transplanted avocado tree was taking off compared to the other? And you said they were about the same size?

The battle with verbs continues...

I'm tellin' ya....3 of the indicative mood tenses (presente, pretérito, and futuro) will get you a long ways. Then, grab pretérito perfecto, pluscuamperfecto, and condicional perfecto along with imperfecto. Those are useful. Follow that up with affirmative/negative imperativo. These are (anecdotally) the 9 most useful tenses in much of Latin America. The other 9 are less used - useful, but you can get by without total fluency.

The bane of my existence is the Subjunctive mood and its tenses. I hear them, and know what is being said, but can't seem to keep my head straight in the logic required to properly *use* it.

Also, with *very* few exceptions, "vos" and "vosotros" forms of verbs go unused in the New World. You'll never need it in the Caribbean nor most of Central/South America.

Another tip: irregular verbs trip a lot of people up. It's not as bad as it seems. Being derived from Latin, Spanish is very orderly and logical. There are irregular verbs, but they follow strict rules governing their construction. There are only a few *types* of them. ("o" becomes "ue", etc.). Learn these groups, then learn the specifics. You'll soon see the patterns and will know on sight when a verb conjugates in an irregular way.
