Greetings, Forum Mates. It's 99% certain that soon after the New Year, I'm making another voyage to the DR to spend some with Kip and his missionary work. If you have small items (you know, like cigars...) that you want to send him (even stuff like unbandeds for the show), contact me via private message and I'll send you shipping info for me. I'd like to have everything with me by January 4. Thanks!

Dammit! I just made our annual trip to donate clothing at Christmas time. I should have given it to you for donation at the missions. It would have been a pain to bring though. Perhaps it was for the best.
Glad to hear you're going again, Mike. We shall have to meet up prior, and after!

By the way...we made it up the mountain today. Ho. Lee. Crap. The road is washed out in a number of places, and you have to hug the side of the mountain tightly to avoid falling off the side. Most of the mudslides that covered the road are gone, though. None the less, it's not especially safe at the moment - and when the mud begins to dry and crack I expect more sections of the road to collapse. We probably won't be able to go up on Friday or Sunday. We need some drying time....
The Davidoff fields you saw last year along the way up still haven't been planted. I imagine they'll sit fallow this year, unless somebody is ready to jump in and plant Day 0 of a good dry spell.

Spent some time with Amado today. He was sorting coffee beans, and said he's ready for your return....
Sent via smoke signal from the tropics....

That sounds like he be around then, which is awesome. I was really hoping to see him and Ramona and to get them a belated 50th Anniversary gift. Got any insights of what might be very beneficial (or simply wanted) to them? It can be somethng purchased down there, if need be.

I'm assuming what I see is an operable opaque transom but my initial thought Stew was an additional operable 12" for that door behind him...
